The Indianapolis Yearlings took action that was heard around the football world recently.
Colts proprietor Jim Irsay took the shocking action to fire lead trainer Honest Reich after his occupation seemed, by all accounts, to be alright for basically the remainder of the time. The move came only multi week after the Colts terminated hostile facilitator Marcus Brady.
The Yearlings then employed previous All-Master focus Jeff Saturday as their interval lead trainer, which was met with a ton of analysis.
Charge Cowher, who’s the previous lead trainer of the Pittsburgh Steelers, was one of the media individuals who condemned Irsay. He went in on him during Sunday’s version of The NFL Today on CBS.
“It’s a shame to the instructing calling,” Cowher said.
This was met with a great deal of blended responses from the NFL people group.
I love Cowher. He has points here. But I disagree with him. Why should he have been hired as an Ast Coach when guys in college bust the butts to get to the pros. I might have more issue if Saturday didn’t step in mid season. Clearly the owner wanted him previously. https://t.co/8YQjNzmzJ2— Brian (@Spcbll_1) November 13, 2022
We’ll need to perceive how Saturday does as he attempts to get the gig on a full-time premise heading into next season.
