Baker Mayfield replaced Walker at halftime of Sunday’s blowout loss to the #Bengals and Sam Darnold was just activated from IR. But on a short week, Walker gets another shot.
In Week 8, Walker would have driven the Jaguars to an unbelievable rebound win in Atlanta notwithstanding D.J. Moore’s exorbitant individual foul punishment and Whirlpool Pineiro’s kicking shortcomings.
Notwithstanding, in the wake of tossing for 317 yards and a score against the Birds of prey, Walker finished only 3-of-10 passes for nine yards and two captures in the principal half of the previous victory misfortune to Cincinnati.
Mayfield, who started the season as the starter prior to getting injured, took over for Walker and drove three final part score drives, finishing 14-of-20 passes for 155 yards and two scores.
The Pumas tumbled to 2-7 with their 42-21 misfortune to the Bengals.
