Parker will miss the second consecutive season due to injury. Last year, it was a triceps ailment, and this year, for the time being, it is an unreported injury.

Parker expressed his thanks to the Raiders when he re-signed with them this offseason despite his injury history, stating he wanted to show the team right for making the decision.

“I just want to prove them right,” Parker told reporters. “I try to be the positive guy, the leader.” Every day, I am in the building. Every day I come in here, I attempt to earn the respect of my peers by the way I work, communicate, and walk. I believe the coaches recognize this and were prepared to give me another shot because of how I conduct myself.”

However, the 27-year-old will be sidelined once more.
