The Dallas Cattle rustlers worked on their record to 5-2 this previous Sunday, yet cornerback Jourdan Lewis went down with a season-finishing injury.

Lewis was put on harmed save due to a Lisfranc injury. He'll go through a medical procedure reasonably soon.

In six appearances this season, Lewis has 26 complete handles and a block attempt. The Ranchers will miss his commitments.

With an end goal to substitute Lewis for the final part of the time, the Cowpokes are supposed to sign veteran cornerback Kendall Sheffield.

NFL Organization's Ian Rapoport was quick to report this marking.

Fans immediately brought up that Sheffield played for protective organizer Dan Quinn back in Atlanta.

"This very a Dan Quinn thing. Drafted him in 2019," one individual said.

"I dig it," someone else composed. Sheffield, a previous fourth-balance pick of Ohio State, was drafted by the Hawks in 2019.

The Hawks deferred Sheffield back in May. He was then asserted by the Texans.
